25/26 Volunteer Fee

$125.00

Volunteer Fee & Participation Requirements – 2025–2026 Season

To support the success of our band programs and group fundraising efforts, all families are asked to fulfill a volunteer commitment each season. This ensures events run smoothly, opportunities remain available for our students, and responsibilities are shared fairly across our band community. Please note: there will be a non refundable $3.90 merchant services fee added to an volunteer fees that are paid by credit card. This fee will not be refunded with the $125 if volunteer requirements are met.

Volunteer Fee: $125 per Family

This fee will be immediately deposited into your student’s individual band account

If your family fulfills the volunteer requirements listed below you will have two options regarding this fee:

  1. Refund Option - You may request a refund of your $125 fee at the end of the school year
  2. Credit Option - You may choose to leave the $125 in your student’s account for future use.

Important: If the volunteer requirements are not completed by the Spring Craft Show, the $125 will be transferred to the Blackhawk Band Boosters General Fund to support ongoing program needs.

Additionally: Families who do not pay the volunteer fee and do not meet the volunteer requirements may find their student ineligible for Booster-funded support, including:

  • Subsidies for trips and events
  • Booster-sponsored awards (e.g., letterman jackets and senior awards)

Volunteer Requirements

Each family must have one adult complete:

✅ One Football Concession Stand shift

✅ One Fall Craft Show shift AND One Spring Craft Show shift

Executive Board Officers and Committee Chairs are exempt from the $125 fee due to the time they already contribute, but they are still expected to fulfill the event shift requirements.
